Wet Cupping also
known as Hijama
Wet Cupping also known as Hijama involves firstly the process of Dry Cupping massage and Dry Cupping (please refer to our Dry cupping link if you’d like further information). The process of dry cupping is firstly performed and left on the skin for about 3-5 minutes. This then numbs the skin in preparation for Hijama Wet Cupping. The dry cups are then removed from the areas and then using a small scalpel blade superficial cuts are made on the first layer of the skin. The cup is placed back onto the area and using negative pressure capiliaric blood is forced out. this removed stagnated blood from the areas of discomfort and increases the flow of detoxified blood, allowing fresh nutrients and oxygen to reach those areas and giving instant relief. This result in increased elasticity of your muscles and better performance of body organs.

clearance of toxins & morbidities
Many people associate Hijama with the clearance of toxins and morbidities from the body via the microcirculatory system and they would be correct in their thinking! however there is more to Hijama than simply removing blood stasis. It allows the clearance of any occlusions in the lymphatic ducts which are part of the greater lymphatic system.
