Founder of Cura Co, Iman has been a professional Hijama specialist since 2016. Her experience involves everything from Consultations, muscle recovery to rehabilitation, individual health treatment plans, and of course Wet cupping also known as “Hijama”. Iman has since been working actively in the anatomy of the body and muscle pain industry by running her Hijama clinic known as “Cura Co’’ where she has trained her team from scratch and has become one of the first Approved Hijama Training Centre in Australia.
The “Certificate in Hijama Cupping Therapy” course offered through Cura Co Academy, for the subject of Hijama, involves a study of the subject, its procedure, its mechanisms, interactions with human tissues, together with all the safety considerations, and applying this to live patients. The emphasis of the course is to produce Certified Hijama Practitioners with an understanding of Hijama Therapy according to Australian safety standards while taking into consideration Islamic teachings and cultural aspects, its impact on health and wellbeing, and the practical therapy itself. The course is based on an in-depth study of the topic and focuses on the cupping sites on the body.
Our course is designed to be easy and practical when it comes to learning. We have scheduled classes that run quarterly. Often people prefer to learn at their own pace. This program is designed for individuals wanting to accelerate the process . The private sessions allow you to pick and choose your own dates and give you 1- on-1 exclusively training with Iman, Principal Of CURA CO.
ATTENTION:
The private course covers the same material and follow the same format. All units taught across both courses are the same, the only distinction is that the theory component can be completed sooner than the other. The private course option is made available in order to fit in with the different schedules that each individual may have.

UNIT 4- Anatomy 101: Hijama and the Human Body
UNIT 5- Safety, Hazards, and Contraindications
UNIT 6- Hijama Practice, Legal Considerations, Code of Ethics
UNIT 7- Cupping Sites on the Body, Cupping Points for General Health, and Specific Ailments and illnesses.
UNIT 8- Ruqya – Diagnosis and Self-Help for Black Magic, Evil-Eye, and Jinn.
4 Skype sessions required, before One-to-One Practical Hijama Training. Approx. 2 hours per session.
Day 1 In-house: Practical Skills & Practice Application
One-to-One Practical Hijama Training on Your Volunteer. Students will perform practical applications on a model.
